| Dear IB Parents,
Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year!
We are fortunate to have an IB Program in our community which provides a wealth of opportunities for our children to grow both intellectually and personally. IB students are assured a solid foundation for their future success through the rigorous curriculum and community based service projects in which they are involved while in the IB Program.
For parents of IB students, the opportunity to become involved in your child’s high school experience is readily available through the support activities of the International Baccalaureate Support Foundation (IBSF).
Please take a few moments to review the information on our IBSF website. The IBSF website committee has done a wonderful job of providing us with a site containing information that is useful and beneficial to all IB parents.
I want to encourage all of you to get actively involved in your child’s IB high school experience. We are on the journey through the IB program with our children and the IBSF activities and events are a great way to participate in the adventure.
Please consider completing the IB/PHS volunteer forms and the IBSF membership form and mailing them to the designated addresses. These documents help provide us with contact information which proves valuable when we need to send announcements and reminders to parents and students via email.
